Exchanges/Conversions
Bonds may be exchanged, in integral amounts of $100, for different denominations of an equal aggregate amount of the same Type of Bond and Form of Bond, by presenting the Bond(s) to be exchanged to the Registrar. No exchanges will be permitted on any Redemption Date, or during the 15 days immediately preceding. The Bondholder may request as many as three denominations, with a maximum of five Bonds per denomination for each exchange.
Compound Interest Bonds may be exchanged, at any time prior to maturity, for an equivalent principal amount of Annual Interest Bonds of the same Type of Bonds, by presenting and surrendering the Compound Interest Bonds to be exchanged to the Registrar. No exchanges of Compound Interest Bonds for Annual Interest Bonds will be permitted on any Redemption Period, or during the 15 days immediately preceding.
NOTE: EXCHANGES BETWEEN VARIABLE-RATE BONDS, STEP-UP BONDS AND FIXED-RATE BONDS ARE NOT PERMITTED.
ANNUAL BONDS CANNOT BE EXCHANGED FOR COMPOUND INTEREST BONDS.

with the Bonds to Computershare Trust Company
of Canada, at the address shown on the Form.
